3 January. The first 7X09 of the new year sees GB duo 20901 + 20905 at Aylesbury preparing to leave with the latest consignment of new LUL stock working as the 1142 Old Dalby - Amersham.
4 January. 08649 Wolverton passes along McConnell Drive leaving Wolverton Works with the latest refurbished Heathrow Express unit, 332014. 67026 was awaiting her arrival into the centre sidings to take the 332 south as the 7V03 1420 Wolverton CS - Old Oak Common HX. The next HX to arrive at Wolverton was 332006 behind 67026 the following day.
4 January. With 08649 at a stand at the Electrolux crossing, 332014 is seen in the sun with her Vodafone livery on the frony car prominent.
4 Janaury. Further along McConnell Drive, 332014 is slowly making her way towards the works dive under.
11 January. The second 7X09 of the new year catches BR blue 20096 partnering orange 20314 at Aylesbury with a shorter formation than usual.
12 January. With the failure of 37259 at Stafford and a medical emergency at Wolverhampton, the Enigmatic Logistician was dogged by problems which resulted in 37425 being summoned from Crewe to assist. The charter was also rerouted and new timings issued. The MML and original destination of Acton were never reached. 37425 is seen here traversing the Wolverton Works reception line working the 1Z34 from Crewe.
12 Janaury. Having passed under Stratford Road bridge, 37425 clears her throat heading for Haversham Bank. The buildings to the right were formerly home to Permagon Press, owned by the late Sir Robert Maxwell.
12 January. Having run round at Stafford, 37611 is seen paired with failed 37259 on the rear of 1Z34 as it heads for Haversham Bank. The building in the distance with the cream doors was the former Royal Train shed, now converted to housing.
12 January. At ground level and returning from Haversham Bank, 37611 + 37259 with 37425 on the rear head the Enigmatic Logistician along McConnell Drive in Wolverton .
