4 Oct. Hazy sun catches 56113 hauling 86213 Lancashire Witch + 47749 Demelza passing Chelmscote working an early 0Z86 1420 Willesden - Washwood Heath. The 86 was tripped to Barrow Hill on the 9 October.

4 Oct. The sun breaks through albeit with some heavy looking clouds as 66741 passes Chelmscote with the 4M23 1045 Felixstowe - Hams Hall in tow. The loco is presently unnamed but carried the name Sophie when numbered as 66581.
5 Oct. Plenty of people on the platform at Chinnor as 165001 arrives with the 'Watlington Flyer', the 0935 Aylesbury - Chinnor. This was the first passenger carrying service between Princes Risborough and Chinnor for 57 years.
